Ahh mornings

Olive quietly stalked over to the oak knowing that it would be his new home. He found a hole at the bottom of the tree and peeked in, it was dark and damp and there was an ant colony and a lot of beetles. Olive hated bugs so he moved on. He spotted a hare nibbling at bits of vegetation that must have been pulled from somewhere nearby, Olly crept over the log in front of him and made a slight growl as the hare tilted its ear toward him, Olly sprang into the air aiming for the hare, it dropped the meal and ran Olly landed directly behind it. Extremely discouraged of his inaccuracy, he darted through the brambles in hope to catch up. The hare had vanished. He sighed in his failure and lumbered to the tree. He scraped his claws up the bark and heaved himself on a low branch. He watched and waited.

Sahal twitched his ears. He knew someone had entered their pack territory. It must have been Olive, the newcomer. He raised his shoulder blades and bounded off the towering rock where he made his home. As he hurdled through the air he lined up his paws for a swift and safe landing, and soon he was vaulting through trees until he neared the Old Oak. Not too much surprise of his, he targeted a young ookami settled in it, recognizing Olive. Catapulting up the tree, he settled next to him; his muscles still tense.
"How do you like it?" Sahal chimed pleasurably.
