A little bit about Sahal

When Sahal was much younger, He had a soft personality on the outside. He was very shy and stayed out of the way. On the inside though, there were blazing tornadoes of anger, guilt, and grief. He always tried to just do whats right and keep people from fighting. He never did draw attention to himself, though. He always ignored anything that anyone would say that might upset him. He was never very social.

His past was drastic. When he was very young his parents would fight very often. He never had siblings. When his parents fought, they fought violently. One winter night they were arguing and attacking each other. They had fought over thin ice on a hunt. Sahal watched all their fighting. His father would yell at his mother hurdle towards her. He did this and his paw plowed through the ice as he landed, sending cracks below his mate. She cried out in horror. Sahal bolted to save her. As soon as he did this, his father broke free and snapped in his face. The young pup slashed his youth claws across his own father's muzzle. As he was yelping in pain, Sahal yanked at his mother's scruff. She howled out for him to run. He didn't. His soft paw pads slipped on the ice and they bother splashed in the frosty water. Sahal sprang gasping for breath, he looked everywhere for his mother on the surface and around him in the water but she was no where. His father had begun running toward the land. Sahal wouldn't let him get away. He darted after him gasping for breath with his fur ice cold and sucking at his delicate skin. The frozen wind bit his eyelids as he ran, freezing the tears off his eyes. After running for awhile he stopped and took a break. He couldn't find his father. He lumbered through the deep snow, knowing a blizzard would come soon. He fell asleep in a an old log after awhile. When he woke up he saw the blizzard finishing up. He padded through the dim trees until he stepped on something warm. He looked down and could barely see gray hair sticking up. He scraped the snow away hoping for food, his nose frozen in the breeze. His claws brushed over a wolf's head. He recognized his father. The body was still losing it's warmth. The death was recently.

He likes being alone, peace, and he loves more than anything - Pears. They're a symbol of hope to him.
