The decision

After having gathered all the pack members Iriesh stood in front of the large oak tree wait for those who were talking to quiet. She cleared her throat, "I rarely come to you for an opinion put something troubles me. A wolf by the name of Spirit wishes to join our pack. But i have my pros and cons. Spirit is an excellent fighter, but is also a ticking time bomb in my opinion. With such emotion one could snap at any member whether from our pack or not and not stop in time. It is now up to you to finalize my decision. Should Spirit stay or go? Are you willing to have such an emotional wolf by your side? Loyalty and fighting is what was offered. Now you must take it or leave it."

Olive sat thought about what to say until he made his decision "No!" Olive called out "I say no!"

Dagik looked down at the gathering. "Hmph. This should be interesting." He muttered, then catapulted down. He shook his fur then bowed his head, and took his place in the group. He glanced at the other two wolves before trying to decide. I don't know if I would enjoy having an emotional time bomb amongst the pack. Then again, he wasn't that bad of a fighter. I hate to admit it, but the emotional personality might not be a problem to me. Though it might be to others. It was definitely under the category of a tough decision. Dagik narrowed his eyes and faced the ground. I can't help but thinking that if Spirit could be trained and toughened a lot more, that he could make a worthy fighter that could take on many. He had it in him. The blood of a fighter showed in his veins. What if he became stronger, what if? But what if he became, even more stronger then myself? Dagik shuddered. Think again. That wouldn't happen. I wouldn't let just anyone become tougher than me. Dagik finally raised his head confidently. "I approve."

Spirits eyes went from everyone in Panther pack. He was wondering they would accept him. "What if I have to become a rugged loner? he thought. What if I had to fight for my own will? Spirit shugged as he asked that to himself. Then he shivered at the thought of being in Eagle pack. Spirit shook the thoughs away and looked at Iriesh.

Iriesh took a deep breath, "Spirit. You may stay. But if you become what i believe is threatening to my pack i will personally chase you out of my territory. Keep an on just how far your emotions will take you. I very much would like to see them take a positive toll on my pack. It seems Lilithium is not here to voice an opinion so this discussion seems to be over. I must trust that this is the right decision."

"Its the wrong choice!" Olive mumbled as he ran to his tree

Iriesh shot a glance at Olive, hearing what he said, "I have made my decision."

Spirit let out a long sigh of relief and looked up at Iriesh and said, "Thank you. I will do my best to protect and help the pack." He shook a leave out of his back and white fur and then sat in the clearing.

"You should thank Dagik as well." Iriesh said before turning and leaving the clearing into the thick woods.

Spirit nodded. He padded up to Dagik and said, "Thank you, but if I may ask, why did you choose for me to stay?" He asked curiously.

Dagik lowered his head, clearly thinking of what to say. Cautiously he looked back up. "I believe you are strong fighter in the making. With some training, you will be a positive influence to the pack."

He nodded. "Again, I thank you." He padded away and sat under a pine tree by a large rock.
